We highly recommend DKU members to consult us firstly if you have any medical concern. If your medical condition requires specialist care, we will try to help coordinating with medical resources in Kunshan/Suzhou/Shanghai.
In case of a medical emergency on campus, please contact campus hotline (0512-36657110) to reach nurse on duty, or go to a hospital emergency room.
Call ambulance 120 directly for severe or life threatening situations.
More than 200 kinds of medications, including oral and external, are available in clinic to cover most common medical needs. We provide prescriptions, over-the-counter medication, and medical supplies! All dispensing must be approved by medical staffs.
Clinic offers basic in-house laboratory services as below.
Health Services offer monthly bilingual nutritional consultation for DKU students! It is provided by outsourced dietitian. The schedule is updated via email.
Health Services encourages the development of responsible healthcare habits by holding students accountable for their decisions regarding class attendance. In cases of acute or severe illnesses requiring a recovery period we will provide a written statement as sick note for half or 1 day. These statements are provided on an individual basis. It is the student’s responsibility to communicate directly with his or her faculty or advisor. Faculty will decide whether the students may make up work missed and what effect the absences may have on the requirements of the course.
When a medical leave longer than 2 days is needed, the student needs to apply through Academic Services Office with supporting medical document.
